I am partnering with a global market research agency, who are looking for an Account Manager to be responsible for their FMCG clients within Germany. The position is based in the German head office in Düsseldorf, it is a permanent, full-time role and offered as hybrid (3 days office/ 2 days home-office).

Your responsibilities
As the new Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts mainly coming from the FMCG sector.
· Retain and grow existing accounts across Germany
· Develop long-lasting relationships with your clients
· Upsell and cross-sell within the existing client base
· Travelling to meet clients on-site, (ca. 30% travel)
· Providing on-site advisory services to clients
· Meeting and exceeding sales targets
· Staying on top of the latest developments in the FMCG industry

Your qualifications
· Solid B2B sales/ account management/ business development experience
· Ideally have previous experience and/ or interest in market research and market intelligence
· Knowledge and experience within FMCG and marketing is of advantage
· Have a consultative sales approach
· Experience working with sales goals and targets
· Fluent in German and English
· Ability to travel (30%)
· Ideally bachelor degree or equivalent education
You will be compensated with a competitive basic salary and with a generous, uncapped commission package on top. In other words, your success will be dependent on your hard work. You will also be working in an international-oriented team, working with offices across Europe with a lot of room to grow and develop within the organisation.
