  • Head of Export FMCG - Fluent French Surrey Reporting to the CEO and Head of Sales, we have an exciting opportunity to head up the International business for a highly successful, award winning Export business . The role will be to drive business forward, on a Pan European basis. Requirement is to manage existing large, well known brands and operators, as well as win new business and ultimately develop the team further. An entrepreneur who is flexible and can work as part of a team is what we are looking for! You will be required to; Construct a written business plan, to be agreed with the Head of Sales and CEO, which is in line with the company Strategic Plan. The Business Plan covers all existing accounts and prospects and is to be produced each financial year and reviewed quarterly. The plan will include sales turnover, margin, customer and product penetration objectives. To be responsible for the revenue and profit on the Export business and maintain a product price strategy across all key product categories which meets the company's targets To maintain contact with the Purchasing team and also other relevant contact points within each of the Customer's Organisation. To generate new business and grow existing business. To work proactively with the "End User" customers to gain listings for products that will be sold through our network of National Account Customers and wholesalers as designated. Seek opportunities to promote our products to the sales teams of major customers and carry out such training, as may help them sell more of these products. To maintain a comprehensive file for each customer to include correspondence, a copy of the sales plan, pricing and rebate details, each month. Customer call reports a site directory, copy of any contract, product range and forecasts. To organise promotional activity to boost sales levels in conjunction with the Purchasing and Marketing teams of customers. We are seeking applicants with: A proven track record in Export Sales to a Pan European market (FMCG). Fluency in French/English. Entrepreneurial. Commercial. Ability to self manage and be autonomous. Strong Decision Making ability. Good Planning and Organising skills. Flexibility and adaptability to different culture and ways of doing business.
