Technical Support Engineer – Voice Solutions

I am working with a market leader in the Business Communications field. They are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to work as part of a team of 12 Technical experts across the DACH region. Reporting directly to the Technical Support Manager for DACH you will be based remotely in Germany.  

Client focused you will drive product launches and service improvements.

Based from your Remote Office in Germany your tasks will be varied with a focus on the following

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on escalations where 1st line support has been unable to resolve the problem
  • Provide support to clients with highly complex technical issues
  • Resolve and report bugs and analyse root causes of these issue
  • Support new product introductions
  • Ensure client feels supported throughout issue resolution and escalate should you not be able to find a solution

Key Requirements: 

  • Fluent German and English are essential in order to communicate effectively with both clients and your team
  • Previous experience in Technical Support coming from Voice, Collaboration or Contact Centre Solutions
  • Excellent technical skills and the ability to step in and solve escalations
  • Experience with SIP Protocol, Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Solid 3rd level technical skills
  • Problem solver
