My client is a multinational rubber tire development and manufacturing company who have their products in more than 100 countries around the world. They have been extremely successful in the European market and are now looking to move their European base to Frankfurt. As such, they are looking for an Account Manager to join their team and manage their existing customer base here in Germany. Your responsibilities:

Besides being the main account manager in Germany, you will also:

  • Manage existing accounts and maintaining a good relationship with existing clients  
  • Be responsible for the identification and development of new and existing accounts in Germany to achieve the planned growth of the company’s turnover and profitability. Establish and maintain an analysis of the relative position in the German market
  • Collect and continuously update comprehensive market intelligence
  • Identify new potential markets/service opportunities in the country through internal and external marketing research activities.
  • Be responsible for the creation, development, update, and achievement of the company’s plans and targets
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of existing German accounts.


Your Profile

  • A minimum of 1 year experience selling services or products within the automotive industry (either to OEMs or to suppliers), this can also be in the form of internships
  • Experience of the entire sales process (from creating leads to closing them)
  • Experience or knowledge of the tire business would be an advantage
  • Target oriented individual
  • Ability to travel extensively within Germany
  • Fluency in German and English is essential


(You will be responsible for the German market at first, and will have the opportunity to be responsible for the DACH region in the future, depending on performance)
