Account Executive

Our client is an international software company providing digital consumer research and a social media management platform to businesses and agencies. Due to growth in the DACH region, they are now expanding and recruiting several Account Executives to join their growing team in Berlin.  If you are a passionate sales candidate, this could be the role for you! The role can be based either in Berlin and working on a hybrid model or 100% remote based from a home-office in Germany.


Account Executive – SaaS

Permanent Position / Berlin


Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Account Executive, it will be your responsibility to generate business and sales through acquiring new customers and clients. Your clients will be social media & marketing professionals from small- medium and large companies within different industries in the DACH region. You will be in charge of the whole sales process from start to closing. This includes calling clients, holding online demonstrations/ presentations to the client, consulting the client, understanding their needs, offering them a solution, negotiating the offer and getting the deal closed. You will be provided with warm leads from the lead generation team.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Proactively identify opportunities and contacts with new clients
  • Hold online presentations to clients
  • Be an expert on the software and solution offered
  • Actively build and maintain your own pipeline
  • Work towards KPIs and targets
  • Have a consultative sales approach


Your profile

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Ideally University degree or an equivalent education
  • Experience in a similar tech/ software sales role
  • Ideally have experience and interest in social media and/ or digital marketing
  • Experience in the managing the whole sales cycle from first call to closing the deal
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Experience in holding presentations to clients
  • Results and target driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
