Our client is an international information solutions provider for the finance sector. Their team in Vienna is currently recruiting for a Sales Relationship manager to join their team. Senior Relationship Manager
Full-time, Permanent, Vienna

The role:

As part of a team of 3 your role will primarily involve looking after clients in Western Europe, specifically in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Your clients will be financial institutions, banks, corporate companies, local and regional government established clients and your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • First point of contact for all client queries
  • Delegating tasks to junior support staff
  • Keeping in touch with clients via telephone/email
  • Meetings clients on a regular basis
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge
  • Working closely with the Business Development department to ensure smooth transfer
  • Provide regular market feedback to Head
  • Meeting Cross-selling targets
  • Managing pricing and implementing increases
  • Responsible to follow up on unpaid invoices

 Supervising the team

The Requirements:

My client is looking for a candidate who has ideally at least 4 years experience in an Sales/account management/relationship management position. This role will require frequent travel, so you should be open and flexible. Other requirements include:

  • A degree level qualification, preferably gained in a finance or numerical discipline
  • Fluent German and English essential (any other European language a plus)
  • Experience of working in financial services industry or public sector.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, yet integrate appropriately with the team and other areas
  • Comfortable presenting to senior management
  • Strong negotiation skills and able to influence key decision makers
  • High level of commitment
  • Highly organised
