Euro London Appointment's client , a leading innovator in Information Systems for managing data information in scientific research laboratories (LIMS), is currently looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant/ Technical Sales Specialist as part of their continuing expansion across EMEA.
This is a superb opportunity to join a market leader in their field in 2021, interfacing with diverse laboratory clients ( Pharmaceuticals, BioBanks,Hospitals, Clinics, Industrial, FMCG etc…) and presenting customized product demonstrations ( on-site , remotely , on conference-calls and at trade shows ) according to the client's business needs , as established by the Account Manager and Sales Manager.
You will also act as a vital "bridge" between Sales and Professional Services to help ensure a smooth transition for clients after the Sale.
The position can be remotely based in France, Spain, Italy or The Netherlands with regular travel within EMEA to meet with clients (when COVID19 conditions allow for a return to physical meetings, that are currently conducted via Microsoft Teams)

*Assisting the Regional Sales Manager and Technical Sales Specialist ( Pre-Sales) team in fulfilling qualified lab audits, demo requests ( on-site and remote) and pre-demo strategy sessions for all our client's prospects and opportunities.
*Create and keep updated standard demos for our client's target market sectors ( General LIMS, BioBank, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences)
*Continually enhancing technical knowledge so as to add value to demo creation and maintenance and interaction with prospective client IT organisations. You should have intermediate knowledge of technologies that our client uses including Java, JSP's, XML, Web Services etc…
*Acting as a liaison between Sales and Professional Services to help ensure that the solution proposed during the sales process is the one delivered as a result of the current implementation process.
*Ability to deliver a compelling and clear demonstration to meet the needs ( often diverse) of the target audience, whether in person or remotely. You should provide reassurance to client's if they have concerns and bring strong product knowledge to the position ( you will receive full product training on joining )
*Work closely with Account Managers in order to ensure that formal/informal collaborative strategy discussions take place for all configured demos.
*Attend LIMS industry trade shows as required ( when these begin again !) in the capacity of an attendee, exhibitor and /or presenter.
*Participate in internal product management teams acting as a "customer advocate" and representative of Sales.
Skills and qualifications required
*A Bachelors or Masters degree or professional experiences in the Life Sciences sector , s as to facilitate understanding of your prospective clients/client's needs.
*Strong verbal and written communications skills, including experience with high value software solutions ( Cloud /SaaS)
*Willing to travel on a regular basis ( depending on COVID-19 restrictions) to conduct audit, onsite demos, and attend trade shows across EMEA.
*Knowledge and understanding of SQL, Oracle , Databases, procedural programming, systems interface and integration, operating systems, networks, and web applications ( again not all these skills are required but some knowledge and a desire to learn more is essential)
*Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of local languages including Dutch, German, French, Italian and Spanish is a significant advantage due to the international nature of Technical Pre-Sales.
*Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite software.
