My client is currently recruiting for an upbeat, ambitious, and highly organised individual with fantastic administrative and communication skills to to join the team on a maternity cover basis. This person will also coordinate between their German supplier, German editorial team and the production division in order to guarantee that all German publications of the clients books get to the market as planned.
This exciting role will entail a wide range of administrative and operational duties including:
*Preservation of the German language publishing program, making sure all German orders and German title information get recorded correctly, and updated when needed in the company database.
*Assisting the German website related work, as well as dealing with customer requests sent via the website. Also you will be running the German Social Media accounts.
*Maintenance of the client's German digital catalogue, as well as supporting with two annual German print catalogues.
*Planning of sales presentation materials and working on a variety of marketing materials throughout the year.
For this position you would ideally need to be:
* Fluent to native level: German
* Have at least 1 or 2 years of previous experience in a demanding sales and administrative role, preferably within publishing.
* Outstanding time-management skills so that you can stay on top of the fast-moving and changing workload.
