German Speaking Digital Sales Manager

Are you a fluent English and German speaker looking to take your advertising sales career a step further? One of the leading European publishers is looking for the right candidate in London!

My client is one of the biggest media publishers in Europe with a 70% net reach in Germany. The successful will be selling their portfolio to agencies and direct clients based in the UK and Benelux that want to advertise in Germany so fluency to a native level in English is a must while most internal communication will be in German.

An attractive package up to £50K basic salary and £15-25K OTE is on offer for the right candidate.

Desired Skills and Experience:

*Minimum of 3 years' experience in digital media (preferably including programmatic expertise)
*Strong understanding of the digital industry
*Preferably sales experience
*Knowledge of the German media landscape
*Advanced skills in the German language
*Strong quantitative capability of analysing campaign performance statistics and recommend optimised media solutions
*Working individually, with an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as in a small team
*Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

The role:

*Represent your advertising portfolio being the direct contact for agencies and clients in the UK and Benelux targeting Germany and advise them on the best media mix for their advertising strategies
*Manage campaigns and optimising budgets for best performances, equally achieving highest yield
*Be the key contact for anything in relation to your digital portfolio including social media, content solutions as well as programmatic
*Advise existing and potential / new clients on most effective advertising strategies for the German market and how they can be best executed with your portfolio
*Liaise internally with respective teams in Berlin regarding campaign management, editorial, technical implementation, marketing support and yield optimisation
*Educate clients with digital expertise as the leading digital publisher in the market
*Proactively approach new clients and nurture relationships with existing ones
*Includes business travel to relevant events (eg. Dmexco in Cologne), client meetings in Amsterdam as well as visits to the headquarter in Berlin for sales conferences.
