Business Development Manager/ Director

A publicly listed company is looking for an experienced business development manager/ director (depends on the experience) to support their newly launched O2O car platform in the UK. This long-established company has a solid client base and is willing to provide a generous package to an outstanding candidate who likes challenges!
The ideal candidate:
*The automotive industry-related background is a must.
*5 - 10 years experience in new business development and sales management
*Media marketing knowledge and experience is a valuable add-on
*Well-connected with board-level contacts from automotive Dealerships/ OEM preferred
*Proven Track record delivering challenging revenue targets
*Exceptional presentation, executive engagement, and negotiation skills
*Analyze data to identify and communicate opportunities and risks
*A self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment
*A natural people person, with a fresh and open-minded approach to leadership and teamwork
*Strong business acumen
Responsibility
*Grow revenue by developing new accounts with Dealerships or OEM and identifying opportunities to present solutions and strategies
*Work with other internal teams to formulate strategic sales plans, and to be deployed to support broader sales objectives
*Deliver target calls, highly engaging proposals, sales presentations, and contract negotiation to potential clients
*Attend industry events, networking, and be an ambassador for the platform
*Accurate reporting on sales activity to senior management
*Consistent monitoring of the sales activities and tracking against KPIs
*Develop and execute successful sales campaigns
*Cooperate with other team members to achieve business development and sales objectives
