Account Manager

Our client is an international company providing businesses, media- and PR Agencies with different communication software solutions such as media research, media monitoring as well as a PR focused CRM-software solution. Due to growth in the company they are now expanding and recruiting for an Account Manager based in Frankfurt.

                                                    Account Manager – Existing clients (m/f)

Permanent Position / Frankfurt am Main

 

Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Account Manager it will be your responsibility to manage and take care of the existing accounts. You will be developing and cultivation the relationships with these accounts. You will also identify sales opportunities and up sell within this existing client base.

Other day-to-day duties will include:

  • Work closely with the sales team in Germany in growing the business within the existing accounts
  • Be the main point of contact for existing clients when they have questions, concerns or problems
  • Work closely together with the other teams in the company such as IT, sales and research
  • Be an efficient expert on the companies products
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Give presentations and/ or training sessions for new clients
  • Continues market- and competitor research

 

Your profile

The new Account Manager you should be a customer and service driven person. It is vital that you easily connect to new people over the phone and that you enjoy the contact. You should be confident in yourself and make your own decisions, but at the same time be a team player. Our client is looking for a candidate that has gained their first experience in customer service, sales support and/ or account management.

The ideal candidate should also have the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Experience and/ or knowledge in PR, communication or media is of advantage
  • An interest in online, social media and new technologies
  • Excellent customer relations, verbal and written communications skills
  • Great MS-Office skills
  • Fluent German and good English skills
