Sales Manager - Financial Services

Our client, a world leader in data solutions and analytics for the financial services sector, is looking for a Sales Manager on the French market. You will join a Pan-European team and sell licences to clients in the French speaking market. Clients include banks, insurers, asset managers, finance companies, government bodies and corporations as well as third party distributors.

You must have experience selling financial data / analytics solutions into the financial services sector.


  • Developing and executing on territory business plans in order to achieve or exceed individual sales target;
  • Building and executing on sales strategy to meet or exceed annual sales goals that align with the company’s vision and objectives
  • Gaining and maintaining familiarity with client organizations and processes to direct them towards the appropriate license for products usage.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of industry practices in credit, risk management and regulatory compliance and act as a market expert positioning relevant services/licenses.
  • Organizing and running client meetings and representing the company at industry conferences and events when required.
  • Generating, qualifying and converting new leads through networking and prospecting and executing sales campaigns at existing accounts.
  • Demonstrating the superiority and value of the company’s solutions to potential and existing clients.
  • Managing sales cycles using coordination and communication skills to involve sales specialists and management where appropriate.
  • Executing strong negotiation skills and strategies to bring sales cycles to successful closure.
  • Providing current sales forecasts and sales pipeline information to management on a regular basis.


Profile required

  • Financial data sales experience
  • Experience selling into capital markets, banking and/or insurers.
  • Solid demonstrated understanding of the financial markets as well as the market players.
  • Extensive sales and/or relationship management experience within the financial services sector.
  • Must be fluent in English and French, additional European languages are advantageous.


Salary: 50K€ - 100K€ basic depending on experience, OTE can be double
