While doing my BA & MA in Speech & Language Pathology and my MSc in Psychology, I got a very good understanding of languages, human behaviour and communication in general. Having studied job satisfaction for my most recent dissertation in psychology, I realised how important it is to be fully satisfied at the workplace, and how this reflects on the personal life and growth. This company are a global operational consultancy seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join their local Business Development teams in the UK. You will report directly to the sector Managing Director. Your primary focus will be to partner with a managing director to execute portfolio strategies to maximise their development in new markets. Responsibilities: *Responsible for establishing connections in an assigned portfolio, this company and its offerings, and securing meetings for the Executive Vice President to further relationships with target clients. *Developing an action plan to prioritise and target specific companies utilising a variety of methods, calls, networking, emailing and other marketing techniques. *Ability to communicate this business's proposition and how their approach will deliver value to potential clients *Researching prospective clients, analysing business performance, to provide detailed and accurate sales and marketing information to Senior Sales Executive. *Maintaining and scheduling meeting calendars and updating Salesforce CRM. *Ensure clients are contacted frequently and work with managing director on the specific call strategy for such clients. *Utilise to the fullest extent all knowledge management databases to support call preparation and support with sales strategy development *Have daily communication with the managing director to plan, prioritise daily activity. You will also be a driven self-starter with a bias for action who thrives within a fast pace demanding environment that places a premium on creativity, initiative and autonomy.
