Our client is currently looking for an Implementation Lead who will lead the presales solutions consulting team, overseeing post sales implementation across EMEA. You would lead the configuration, deployment and support for project activities between Operations and IT.
You would be involved in supporting the Deployment team to configure features/modules on our client's range of data analytics solutions for new or existing clients. This requires strong prioritization skills and the ability to respond to concurrent internal requests from Account Managers for regional deployments.
You will manage a small team in a truly international context, working with different departments in EMEA based out of our clients modern and spacious central Reading offices. Management experience is not essential as this can be taught, but experience taking a lead role managing projects is a big advantage.
*Leading and contributing to the implementation, development and delivery of systems adhering to client requirements
*Being responsible for the setup, support and maintenance of scheduled activities to be delivered on time and within budget and continuously lead and champion process improvement.
*Collaborating with Local Account Management team members and/or clients to address requests for new functionality or current functionality.
*Acting as a technical consultant to assist Local Account Management teams in advising and supporting client's improvements and proactively identify client needs.
*Providing operational leadership to the European System Implementation Team, coordinating tasks and projects and looking after the development and engagement of the team.
*Performing peer code and design reviews.
*Responsible for all aspects of recruitment, selection, training, management, and motivation.
*Setting of objectives and conducting performance reviews
*Assigning and prioritising work.
*Overseeing employee career development and planning as well as promotions.
*Coaching, mentoring, managing and motivating.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
*A degree in an IT field such as Computer Science, Information Systems or similar with an emphasis on Data Analysis and technologies and /or Web technologies.
*Team Foundation Server (TFS) or other AML/IDE tooling or Visual Studio experience.
*Basic understanding of Agile project management particularly in Scrum.
*Strong knowledge of relational database fundamentals, including creating and executing queries, creating scripts, importing/exporting data and manipulating data.
*Knowledge of a second European language ( French, German, Italian or Spanish) is highly advantageous for both internal and client facing work
*Strong prioritisation and time management skills to handle concurrent demands from different departments.
*Initial leadership experience , managing on-shore or remote teams, is highly advantageous but not essential.
*Strong communications skills to liaise with different internal departments across Europe.
*Highly motivated and pro-active approach.
