Our client is looking for an International Sales Manager for Intellectual Property Solutions in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The successful candidate will managea team of information sales professionals and maintian an effective, professional sales organization. The new International Sales Manager will effectively drive the continued success of the IP product portfolio within the assigned territories by supporting our customers, driving revenue growth and improve processes.
The International Sales Manager is a key role within the regional and global IP solutions team and manages a team comprised of IP Sales Specialists, IP Account Specialists and Customer Onboarding Managers. The role holder is responsible for the sales strategy, planning and execution for IP solutions across the region; and is responsible for each step of the sales motion; new business, account management and customer satisfaction. The International Sales Manager inspires and motivates the team to attain aggressive revenue growth targets, builds and executes go-to-market plans of new product introductions, and ensures customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with the IP sales teams in the United States and Asia, the European IP marketing team and local sales and marketing teams within the broader organization.
The International Sales Manager is responsible for hitting monthly sales quota, establishing sales processes and management reporting. The role holder works closely with the IP solutions product management team to provide customer insight to shape product road maps and to translate product features into customer benefits.
The International Sales Manager is a sales coach, goal oriented, fast paced, and highly motivated to further build on a professional and effective sales team.
Tasks & responsibilities:
Attain Sales Targets - accountable and motivated to consistently hit set monthly new business (POS), retention and revenue targets
Strategy and planning - develops and executes annual sales activity plans (i.e. revenue and sales targets, lead generation, customer retention, cross/upsell), develops and executes go-to-market plans for new and enhanced product/market combinations
Demand generation - develops and manages sales activities (incl. cold calling) to drive a constant flow and ongoing demand of inbound sales leads for the IP product portfolio. Representing the company at conferences and tradeshows
Customer satisfaction - develops and executes account management, onboarding and training processes and activities to ensure high customer satisfaction
Manage team - builds and inspires a team of information specialists, is a coach and can further develop the individual team members
Reporting - develops and maintains structural reporting on sales related KPIs. Controls the business and establishes accurate monthly sales forecasting. Supports the build-up of annual revenue & expense budgets
Process - implements sales processes in sales automation tool, assess process improvements to increase sales effectiveness. Develops a digital mindset within the team by embracing online, digital (sales) tools
Sales enablement - develops sales tools that supports the sales process, establishes a Challenger (or any other solution selling) based sales team environment

Education, knowledge & experience:
*8- 10 years relevant b2b sales experience, preferable with search and analytics tools
*3-5 years international people management experience (direct reports)
*Proven knowledge of sales concepts and methodologies, and the implementation of such methods
*Understanding and knowledge of the information industry
*Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills (in English), strong presentations skills
*Experience with online sales tools (Clearslide, HubSpot) and CRM
*Expected travel up to 50%
