Euro London Appointments is currently recruiting for a Medical Devices Service Engineer, for our client's West London manufacturing headquarters ( this is an office based position with a 4 day working week ).

This opportunity would be focused on Quality Management , Risk Management, Installation, problem troubleshooting through Technical Support and Manufacturing Support for Electronics based medical devices, full details below.

You will receive Quality Management training to help you to develop your potential ,whilst working with technology that makes a difference to patients worldwide.

The main objectives of the position are as follows :

1.Quality Management including managing technical documentation , CAPA and writing/maintaining process and procedures in compliance with ISO13485 QMS system. This involves verification and validation of ISO process and procedures.
2.Risk Management File, maintenance and updating of RMF in accordance with ISO14971.
3.Customer Technical Support involving on-site installation, training, maintenance and troubleshooting of products.
4.Manufacturing Support - active team member in the manufacturing of Medical Devices.
5.Design Support- providing input into the design of new products.
6.Travel for business , mainly in the UK and Europe for customer support.

Main skills and experience required :

Person specification

*Holder of a higher education degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
*Strong IT skills.
*Fluency in French or German as well as English is preferred.
*Good understanding of reporting requirements under MDR /ISO-13485
*At least one long-term experience in an engineering position within a Medical Devices company with an initial experience relating to device quality ( our client can train the successful Quality Engineer in more depth on Quality Management )

Nice to haves

*Experience of CAD drawings.
*Programming experience.
*IT Networking experience.
* Internal /External audit experience.
