Pre-Sales Engineer ( Medical Information Systems)

Euro London Appointment's client , a leading innovator in Information Systems for managing data information in scientific research laboratories (LIMS), is currently looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant/ Technical Sales Specialist focused on Medical LIMS as part of their new product launch across EMEA following over two decades of success in the Enterprise sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned and innovative market leader in their field, interfacing with diverse strategic Medical sector clients (Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Pathology, Genetics, Blood banks etc…) and presenting customized product demonstrations ( on-site , remotely , on conference-calls and at trade shows ) according to the client's business needs , as established by the Account Manager and Sales Manager.

You will also act as a vital "bridge" between Sales and Professional Services to help ensure a smooth transition for clients after the Sale.

The position can be remotely based anywhere in France with regular travel within EMEA to meet with clients ( less travel currently due to Covid but expected to increase in future up to 25 % approximately )

4.Acting as Lead Specialist for software implementation.
Responsibilities

*Assist the Sales team in fulfilling qualified lab audits, demo requests (on-site and remote), and pre-demo strategy sessions for all of our client's Medical LIMS prospects/opportunities & partners.
*Document lab audit findings to SOW development required.
*Create and maintain standard demonstrations for our client's target market sectors (Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Pathology, genetics, bloodbank etc).
*Continually develop technical knowledge, so as to facilitate demo creation and maintenance, and interaction with prospective client IT organizations. This should include any technology our client utilizes, such as Java, JSP's, Java Script, XML, Web Services, etc.
*Be the lead implementor for the newly formed Medical suite implementation team for Professional services to help ensure that the solution proposed during the sales process is the one delivered as a result of the current implementation process.
*Ability to deliver a compelling and clear demonstration to meet the needs (many times diverse) of the target audience, whether in person or via a web presentation tool (i.e.Zoom/Skype).
*Work with Account Managers in order to ensure that formal / informal, collaborative strategy discussions (follow our client's "Demo Strategy Outline" document) take place for all configured demos. Complete a "configured demo recap form" following each configured demo, detailing what was presented that differs from our "standard" configuration.
*Attend Medical Industry trade shows as needed in the capacity of an attendee, exhibitor, and / or presenter.
*Assist in creating newly formed technical sales documentation for Medical suite LIMS, like LOE, SOW and RFP reply templates
*Participate on internal product management teams acting as "customer advocate" and representative of sales.

Skills and experience required

*Bachelors of Science minimum.
*Strong Verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting high value software solutions to small and large groups.
*Experienced in taking initiative, with a 'self-starter' attitude to seeking out information and relevant stakeholders when required in a company where processes are still being put in place.
*Strong background in LIMS and Clinical software industries, so as to facilitate communication and understanding when dealing directly with prospective clients.You should also have a commercial mindset and be at ease delivering demos or in developing knowledge in how to deliver them.
*Willing to travel up to 25% of the time to conduct lab audits, onsite demonstrations, and attend trade shows.
*Technical background and a desire to expand current technical knowledge in areas such as Java, Java Scripting, HTML, DHTML, and JSP's.
*Knowledge and understanding of SQL and Jboss, Databases, procedural programming, systems interface through ASTML & HL7 communication and integration, operating systems, networks, and web applications.
*Proficient in using Microsoft Windows and Office Suite software
