In this role you are responsible for the management and further development of the accounting team of 15 covering companies in Europe.

The Role:

• As a manager, you motivate your team and are responsible for all matters of leadership
• Your tasks include the coordination and monitoring of the timely posting of outgoing and supplier invoices, payment transactions and all other accounting-relevant issues.

• Preparing group, commercial and tax monthly and annual financial statements for Europe wide companies
• You take over project work, such as the implementation of new USGAAP accounting policies for your team's companies
• Timely reporting of all government-required notifications/statistics in the respective countries
• Continuous improvement of the accounting processes in your team, both with regard to the systems used such as SAP R/3 and the internal workflows and structures
• Ensuring compliance with all internal and external corporate compliance regulations for your companies is your top priority

The Requirements:
 

• Accounting Qualification

• Significant experience in a management role in the field of financial accounting/accounting/auditing

• You have a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of German and international accounting regulations

• You have a good knowledge of German and international tax and business law

• Applied knowledge of SAP R/3 is desired but not a must

• Good analytical skills as well as a conscientious, independent way of working distinguish you

• Your strong teamwork and hands-on mentality round off your profile
