Location: Frankfurt am Main-  Full time, asap

1 year contract with possibility of extension

On behalf of a leading property insurance company, we are looking for a German-English translator. If you have experience in translations / linguistics and wish to work for one of the biggest international companies in Germany, this is your chance!

This position is a parental leave replacement for one year, with possibility of extension to a maximum of two years.

THE JOB: 

  • Translation of moderately complex legal documents as well as financial reports
  • Translation of marketing content including press releases and websites
  • Translation of legal correspondence
  • Translation of marketing and insurance content
  • Maintenance of terminology databases, glossaries, style guides
  • Coordination of local projects
  • Team support in all translation matters

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Translations / Linguistics or equivalent
  • Expertise in translating legal, finance or marketing related documents
  • Basic understanding of engineering and insurance terminology
  • Experience in editing/reviewing desired
  • Fluency in Business German and English (additional languages a plus)
  • Experience in using translation software (CAT, Trados Studio) a plus
