Senior Account Manager - PR Agency

Our client, an international PR agency, specialized in tech PR, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage a team of 5 and to continually develop client relationships and provide ongoing strategic PR advice to clients.

Candidates must have a PR background in the B2B Tech sector, understand the tech media landscape in France and have excellent writing skills in both French and English.

As well as managing a team of Account Execs and Senior Account Execs, you will handle core public relations, writing pitches, marketing and social media/digital tasks including building media lists, establishing media relationships, influencer engagement, conducting industry research, writing and developing client updates and drafting media materials.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day implementation of clients’ PR programmes
  • Develop and cultivate relationship with clients and external audiences
  • Develop long term PR plans and programme recommendations
  • Manage and develop junior staff
  • Write and present new business proposals, or portions of proposals
  • Develop and track budgets
  • Manage account administration duties such as billing and financial reporting
  • Develop sophisticated messages that are aligned with the objectives set forth by the client
  • Review materials (eg: pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios and newsletters) prepared by staff working on their accounts
  • Anticipate, respond to and develop materials on complex issues
  • Cultivate positive client presence in all media through releases
  • Maintain clear and consistent communications between the client and account team
  • Develop complete communications plans for clients

 

Profile Required:

  • Significant tech PR communications experience, preferably in an agency setting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and actualise media goals of the client
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in French and English
  • Highly skilled at managing account teams.
  • Sound understanding of the tech media landscape in France
  • Demonstrated ability to network with potential clients and develop new business leads.
  • Demonstrated ability to pitch and win new business.
  • Intuitive understanding of the business of an agency, and ability to identify and trouble shoot problems within accounts and/or teams.
  • Ability to develop and track budgets
  • Skilled at developing and delivering presentations.

 

Salary: 45K€ - 46K€
