Account Manager

Our client is an international Digital Media company proposing a suite of solutions for corporate streaming events (virtual events, webinars, product announcements, investor days, employee town halls, press relations activity etc.) The digital solutions are focused on the events and announcements that build brand, drive sales and engage key audiences for their clients’ business.

They are looking to recruit an Account Manager to nurture relationships and grow business with existing key accounts in France as well as some other European accounts. You will manage the monthly revenue of the existing book of business in assigned accounts through upsell and renewals.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand the portfolio through cross-sell of products in existing accounts. Your portfolio will be worth 1M€ and will consist of 80 – 100 clients.

You will be selling to Directors of Marketing, Investor Relations, Press Relations and Communications in major CAC 40 accounts.


Essential Duties: 

  • Manage the overall relationship with the assigned accounts
  • Lead the sales process in renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to grow the portfolio of products in assigned accounts
  • Develop, manage, and nurture relationships with accounts, increasing their affinity for your products, adding new contracts, and likelihood of renewals
  • Achieve assigned sales billing and quotas
  • Monitor account satisfaction and identify customer problems; coordinate with Customer Engagement to remedy situations
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date expert understanding of assigned account solutions and understanding of relevant competitor solutions
  • Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence your value proposition
  • Communicate value proposition to existing accounts
  • Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
  • Proactively manage pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion


Profile required:

  • 3- 5 years of experience in account management, identifying additional sales opportunities, and closing deals
  • Experience in SaaS sales essential.
  • Experience selling Webex / streaming products / communicative collaboration products is a plus but not essential
  • Experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences
  • Bilingual French / English


 Salary: 55K€ basic + 35K€ commission (90K€ OTE) + benefits

  Hybrid working pattern (3 days in office / 2 days home)
