Legal Assistant - Shipping Sector

Our client is an international shipping company with a head office in Monaco.

They are looking to recruit a management assistant to support the Director and Manager of Commercial Operations . You will take responsibility for reviewing legal and commercial contracts so administrative experience in the shipping / maritime industry is essential. English to native / bilingual standard is also essential.



  • Assist department head and other staff in the various important and sensitive administrative functions, keeps a record of all sensitive and important information safely and securely
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings, conferences and other such important and vital meetings.
  • Take part in administrative and financial audits and studies and help prepare reports for the head of the departments
  • Efficiently files and keeps all the relevant documents safe, prepare a number of documents such as invoices, purchase orders, memorandums, and reports.


Profile required

  • Assistant / Admin experience
  • Exposure to legal/paralegal work to assist with documents
  • Previous experience in shipping companies (or shipping related–e.g. logistic, agency, insurance)
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite - experience in accounting is a plus
  • English mother tongue preferable (or alternatively English fluent both spoken and written) and Italian is preferred


Salary: 27-30K€
