
Job Title: Customer Service Team Leader
Location: Gravesend, UK (Office based - candidates must be able to commute regularly to Gravesend, this is not a remote position).
Salary: £37,000 - £43,000 per annum
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join our client's team on a permanent basis. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading and motivating a small team of advisers to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
* Motivate and oversee a small team of customer service advisers to ensure they consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences.
* Provide daily objectives and set clear team goals to achieve service excellence and meet performance targets.
* Identify training needs and provide coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Set team and individual KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
* Conduct regular one-to-one appraisals with team members, providing feedback and identifying areas for development.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer support across the organization.
* Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Team Leader/Manager within a Customer Service environment essential
* Fluency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese is highly advantageous, but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
* Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a focus on developing team members' potential.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding performance targets and KPIs.
* Ability to handle and resolve customer escalations effectively.
* Candidates must be within commutable distance to Gravesend.
