Our client is an international software company providing a social media management platform to businesses and agencies. Due to the further growth in the DACH region, they are now recruiting a Sales Manager – Team Lead to manage the account executive team based in Berlin.  If you are a successful sales professional with team management experience, this could be the position for you!

  

Sales Manager – Team Lead DACH – Social Media Software

Permanent Position / Berlin

 

Your new duties and responsibilities

Our client is searching for an experienced sales professional and team leader to head up their DACH Sales team in Berlin. The team consist of ca. eight Account Executives, who are in charge of the whole sales cycle and target companies across the DACH region.

Next to your team management responsibilities, you will also sell yourself and look after certain key accounts. Approximately 70% of your time is dedicated to the team and 30% to your own sales. The role reports directly to the Director of Sales, Central Europe.

 

Other duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day to day activities of the team
  • Development of the team (hiring, motivation, coaching and advancing of the team)
  • Delivering and exceeding sales targets
  • Sales forecasting and target setting
  • Responsible for the weekly reporting of practical KPIs and financial performance and monitoring sales measures and targets
  • Improve processes within the team in order to increase productivity 
  • Actively build, maintain and grow your own pipeline and manage the entire sales process

 

Your profile

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Experience and a proven track record in a B2B sales role
  • Ideally worked in software, technology and/ or SaaS
  • Experience in a team lead or supervisor role
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ideally good knowledge and interest in software and/ or social media marketing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
