HR Administrator - DACH

Our client is an international medical technology company focused on women’s health and beauty. With a presence in 15 countries and more than 5,500 employees globally, they are now growing their team in Germany.

We are recruiting an HR Administrator for a 12 month contract to be based in their Berlin office. This will be a hybrid role based both in the office and with the opportunity to also work from home. If you have some first experience within HR operations and basic knowledge in German labour law, then this could be the role for you!  

HR Administrator - DACH (m/f)

12 month contract / Berlin


As the new HR Administrator you will work closely together with and report to the HR Operations Manager DACH. This is a limited 12 month contract to provide support to the HR team during a period of transition within the company.   

Your new responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administration and coordination support across all areas of HR operations
  • Absence management
  • Administer offers of employment
  • Record new starters and leavers
  • Support with the induction of new colleagues
  • Sickness and absence reports
  • Work closely together with payroll, tax offices and insurances
  • Preparation of reference letters
  • Digitalisation of personnel files
  • Managing the fleet of company cars

Your qualifications and experiences

  • Experience working in a similar HR operations role
  • Basic knowledge of German labour law is of advantage
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Reporting skills
  • Good MS Office know-how
  • Good documentation skills
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Fluent German and a high level of English
