Portfolio Accountant - German Speaking

Main objectives of the role:
* Managing accounting responsibilities for residential property portfolios in Germany.

Responsibilities
* Creating and delivering accurate and timely financial statements, complying with all aspects
* of German residential tax laws (HGB).
* Ensuring all bills and invoices are paid, filed, and reconciled in a timely manner.
* Helping onboard a new accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics).
* Establishing controls, processes and procedures to deliver scalable portfolio management.
* Supporting senior colleagues in managing relationships with German tax consultants and
* banks.
* Preparing monthly financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensuring the democratisation of financial data, for both internal and external clients.
* Seeking to continually drive improvements by implementing your ideas for change

Must have requirements:
* Qualified, or part-qualified, Accountant in Germany
* 3-5 years delivering accounts under HGB (statutory reporting, tax filings)
* Confidence to work independently, seeking support where required
* Business standard English and German

Nice to have:
* Finance & Accounting knowledge of residential real estate sector in Germany, including
industry standards
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
* Excel modelling wizard
* Sense of humour

For 6 years I was working in small retail Shop as a Manager, but I always that this position doesn’t fit me, even that I love working in customer service environment. Then I decided went to United Kingdom to try my luck as a recruiter, and straight away I fell in love, I was trying to gain my experience at small recruitment agency and later go to bigger! When I gain experience, I started to do my research and send my resume for the relevant companies, and eventually I got my interview at Euro London Appointments, I will always remember that day, the company culture was so friendly and warm, that I fell in love with environment straight away, and now I wouldn’t  change my job to any other job. Never give up chasing on your dreams! 

I love to travel & explore new things, meet different cultures and learn about them lifestyles, I believe it helps me to grow as individual person! I’m passionate about sports, healthy living style. I love animals and help for them, very often I was going to work on my free time in animal shelters, to help for them and for the employees.

If I were a famous person, I would be Angelina Jolie, not only that she promotes various causes, including conservation, education, and women's rights but as well Jolie visited more than 30 countries to help people displaced by conflict and natural disasters, at times, even risking her life.

Fun fact: I’m crazy as well about home design, fashion and photography, I have finished photography exams, and I’m qualified eyelash extension technician.

  • A client of ours is looking for a German-speaking Client Relations Associate!!!
