Retail Store Manager

(English & German)

Innsbruck, Austria

Job Description
Provide an excellent standard of customer service and promote and monitor this quality in other members of staff
Hire employees with our passions and philosophies
Write performance evaluations according to the Human Resources Department guidelines
Responsible for leadership, training and staff development
Responsible for achieving and exceeding budgeted revenue goals and developing and monitoring expenses
Review the fiscal revenue, expense and profit goals for the store
Maintain expenses measured as a percentage of sales, taking necessary action if goals are not met
Monitor a loss prevention program to protect the company’s inventory and assets
Maintain regular contact with various departments to maintain a feedback loop 
Work in conjunction with the marketing department to develop an advertising or promotional plan to maximise retail sales for your store,  enhances product presentation, includes signage or POP, and makes that store an easy place to shop
Ensure the store is working in compliance with employment laws
Your Profile
Fluent English and German
Min. two years’ experience in retail store management
Ability to build effective teams and motivate employees to set and maintain high standards of performance
Knowledge of effective merchandise presentation standards and basic retail concepts (gross margin, markdowns)
Excel, Word, Retail pro efficient
Flexibility, ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies
Strong problem solving skills.
