Investment Marketing Manager - French speaking

Asset Management firm with a focus on Real Estate and with an ever growing portfolio is recruiting a French speaking Investment Marketing Manager in its central London office.

The business is on the brink of launching a new Fund with another Fund launch to follow early 2018.

The Investment Marketing Manager will be focused on promoting products and coordinating marketing activities mainly towards Institutional clients. Among your duties, you will be responsible for product marketing, ensuring market positioning and messaging for the Group's funds across different channels, helping with product development and driving customer demand. You will be in charge of maximising the effectiveness of all product marketing collaterals for different targets (institutional investors, financial advisors, family offices, …) and increasing sales revenues.

This role would suit both Marketing professionals with strong product/investment knowledge as well as Investment/Product Specialists keen to develop their marketing skills.

Your tasks will include:

You will be responsible for working closely with key stakeholders to develop the investment marketing plan (strategic and tactical) aligned to the business' objectives. This includes developing the messaging and strategic positioning of the product and ownership of the delivery (content as well as distribution), ensuring the messaging and deliverables are relevant to your target audience.

*Developing the marketing positioning and messaging for the Group's funds on growing markets.
*Identifying and writing key investment messages that will be used in campaigns and associated communications to promote the fund and its investment strategy.
*Creating all marketing materials/content and sales pitch for the Group's funds across a variety of different channels (website, emailing, newsletters, press…)
*Driving the launch of new investment funds.
*Managing the development of improved literature and sales materials.
*Ensuring editorial expertise and messages meet compliance guidelines.
*Managing a publishing schedule for investors' reports and responsible for producing all product marketing materials targeting investors.
*Developing tools to enhance investors' experience

Your Profile:

*Proven marketing experience within the financial sector is essential.
*Outstanding investment/product marketing expertise.
*Deep knowledge of institutional clients' profile and expectations in Europe (mainly France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg)
*Experience in developing messaging, value propositions and product marketing content in the financial industry.
*Creative vision, ability to innovate, strong communication skills, focus on delivery and an ability to coordinate and liaise with multiple stakeholders in an international structure.
*Excellent knowledge of the European Asset Management industry and landscape
*Deep understanding of Funds;
*Ability to understand client segmentation, regulatory, distribution requirements and industry trends are also essential.
*Ability to work effectively in a team - someone who is collaborative, flexible and adaptable, reliable with a strong 'can do attitude'
*Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects at once
*Strong project management skills, excellent strategic planning skills, organisation and prioritisation, including an ability to move projects forward in a complex environment.

Marketing Executive - KIIDs (German speaking)

A leading independent investment manager is hiring a Marketing Executive with a focus on KIIDs. Preference will be given to candidates with fluency in German.

The role holder is responsible for the production and accuracy of documentation, primarily KIIDs in multiple languages and for the distribution of reports on a timely basis. Positioned within Marketing, the role holder will support the wider Sales and Distribution team whilst ensuring regulatory requirements are adhered to. You will also be involved in projects to meet to regulatory reporting needs. In time you will be recognised as a specialist in your own field internally and externally. You must ensure that all output is compliant and accurate and proactively identify production efficiencies which move the business forward.

The role will involve liaising with various departments including Product & Fund Development, Marketing, Sales and Compliance departments.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager with the Investment Reporting Team's objectives
* Co-ordinating the production of KIIDs by the business and ensuring the timely and accurate production of regulatory documentation and delivery via a range of channels
* Monitoring the SRRI notifications and arranging KIID updates as required
* Attending meetings regarding Fund launches as required
* Managing relationships with external parties supporting the production and publishing processes
* Working on projects relating to content (including regulatory changes), process improvement and design
* Assisting with the co-ordination of translation with external translation suppliers for monthly, quarterly and annual investment reporting documentation
* Supporting the factsheet production of other by other team members and working collaboratively to meet deadlines. Assisting with factsheet production in peak periods
* Maintenance of auditing procedures / database design mapping
* Working closely with relevant departments to improve the factsheet and KIID production process
* Providing backup support to the team with annual and interim KIID updates production and dissemination

Qualifications/Work Experience
* Practical experience in the asset management industry and within a deadline driven environment
* Proven track record in delivering high quality investment reports/KIIDs in an asset management / hedge fund company or similar business
* Knowledge of investment instruments e.g. equities, bonds, alternative investments (including hedge funds) and derivatives
* Previous knowledge of KIIDs required
* IMC preferred
* Knowledge of investment instruments (equities/bonds/alternative investments/derivatives)
* Ability to audit and analyse fund data
* Strong PC skills - Excel, Word, Outlook etc. as well as the ability to learn in-house packages
* Project management skills / process improvement experience desirable

Personal Attributes
* Fluency in German is HIGHLY desirable
* Literate and numerate with proven analytical skills

Management Accountant - German speaking

Rapidly expanding, PE backed Accountancy practice looking to add a German speaking Management Accountant (MA) to its central London office.

The MA has the primary task of preparing accurate, timely and informative management information for clients along with any associated compliance work (VAT returns etc). This requires technical knowledge, attention to detail and an ability to organise a workload without relying on others for regular guidance and direction.

The more detailed services completed by the MA are bookkeeping work, posting supplier invoices, credit notes and pre-coded expenses forms (either directly to the accounting software or via an online accounting portal), preparation of management reports (including but not limited to profit and loss account, balance sheet, management letter commentary and supporting schedules), preparation of VAT returns, EC sales lists, Intrastat returns, CIS reporting and preparation of supporting files in relation to these, the resolution of any review points raised by the business as part of its quality control process, and provision of these deliverables in an accurate and timely way.

The role requires significant interaction with other teams and with client staff. Within the company there will be interaction with Financial Administrators who may work on the same clients and Client Managers who will review the work completed before it is delivered to clients.

The MA will need to be confident in communicating with people at all levels both in German and in English.

A good Management Accountant will be a technically competent accountant, will understand the client's business and will analytically self-review their work prior to presenting it to the client manager for review together with matters highlighted for the manager's attention. You will continually be perceptive to the clients' circumstances and technical/compliance issues, highlighting these to team colleagues.

Each MA is assigned a portfolio of work. However it is inevitable there will be times when clients will be demanding in their requirements and as a client focused business you will always try and react to this. You should be able to deal with such requirements on their own portfolio in a timely manner, identify and highlight when they need assistance and be prepared to assist others throughout the firm.

An excellent MA should be seeking to develop their interpersonal and technical skills to the stage where they consistently minimise the quality assurance aspect of the client managers on their clients and consistently demonstrate a willingness to deliver excellent client service. This will allow the opportunity to be considered for promotion to the role of Senior Management Accountant or Client Manager.

Client Manager (Accountant) - German speaking

You will be a qualified Accountant and will be responsible for managing the relationship with clients and responding to their technical queries by ensuring quality control reviews are conducted to high standards and to strict deadlines. Client Relations Associate

A leading global Asset Management firm is immediately hiring a Client Relations Associate to join its Institutional team. The purpose of this role is to support the Client Relations Advisors in servicing Institutional clients, primarily in the Insurance business, as well as supporting business development efforts with clients and prospects.


Responsibilities:
The Associate coordinates all client activity and provides the central point of reference for internal and external contacts associated with a client relationship. Associates are in constant communication with clients and various internal departments to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded-they are the advocates for the client. This includes building effective and trusted relationships first and foremost with their Advisors, but also with portfolio management, operations and client reporting, legal and compliance, among others.

Associates are responsible for handling all client, consultant and prospect requests specific to the relationships to which they are assigned. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Acting as first point of contact for all client enquiries and collaborating with colleagues in other departments to successfully resolve them (including product/performance/market related queries; operational issues; legal amendments; billing queries etc)
- Partnering with an Institutional Advisor to ensure strong client relationships built on trust as well as helping to build advocacy with prospects
- Coordinating and overseeing client service and prospecting materials such as presentations for meetings, RFPs, ad hoc reports and general correspondence
- Overseeing the new account take-on process including coordination of legal, portfolio management and operational items with the relevant internal departments
- Facilitating contributions to and withdrawals from client portfolios
- Maintaining client files and CRM system/databases (Salesforce)

Skills/Experience required:
- Fluency in English AND one of German, Swedish, Spanish, or Italian
- Must be a team player and work well with Advisors, Associates and other members of the client group
- Undergraduate university degree. Financial/economics background is desirable
- Candidates should have an interest in the financial industry and be bright, energetic with a can-do attitude
- Work experience ideally within client relations and/or client servicing/account transitioning team within asset management is preferred
- Strong time management and organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and prioritise in order to meet deadlines
- Motivated, dynamic self-starter, willing to take ownership of work and ability to handle assignments and projects with minimal direction
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and a supportive, persuasive telephone manner with clients
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; detail-orientation
- Must be professional, courteous and flexible at all times
- Ability to interact with senior management and to handle confidential information

Treasury Advisor

A world renowned travel company is looking for 2 treasury advisors to work at its Oxford office. This is a temporary 3-month position with a view of extension.

This role falls under the finance department of my client and will also entail assisting its customer service department.

The duties and responsibilities include:
- investigate payments between my client and its customers
- analyse various information and make appropriate conclusions
- verify disbursements
- to make recommendations for positive change
- resolve any potential issues from disbursement checks
- evaluate risk, recognise and prevent potential threats to different accounts

If you are able to work calmly under pressure, has attention to detail, fantastic research skills, a problem solver, hardworking, has excellent IT skills (including Excel and image editing software), please get in touch.
