HR Specialist (m/f)

An international opportunity has come up within an exciting company, represented mainly in Europe, company language English. Within this very good employer, there is an open position free as

 

HR Specialist (Personalreferent), maternity leave cover, initially for 9 months.

 

This role is covering a wide range of tasks: from employment contracts to exit interviews. You would be working with different departments situated in different countries.

 

 

The role:

You will be working in Frankfurt but reporting to the UK, France and Germany and liaising with the other European HR Specialists. You will take care of and take charge in the areas of:

 

  • Compensation and benefits support
  • Maintaining staff records
  • Support Senior HR Specialist
  • Work with Local HR teams for different projects
  • Provide smooth administrative support to German business
  • Ensuring that HR policies and procedures are up to date and well communicated within the company
  • Correspondence in English and German
  • Working on international projects

 

This HR Specialist role also covers a wider range of areas as employment contracts, tax, local employment law, preparation of payroll, benefit schemes, employee interviews, etc. You will be travelling to Cologne once or twice per week. As you notice there is a lot to do and you will surely never be bored!

 

 

Requirements:

This role requires a solid understanding of all HR matters, contracts as well as consulting employees and being a constructive interface between company and employee’s interests. Therefore, you should have good mediating skills and understanding of peoples needs. As this role is purely international, it would be an advantage of having worked in an international company/ environment before. Fluency in English and German is a must!

 

You should have a minimum of ideally at least 2 years is required and you need to bring good client orientation, as well as team working skills and a positive working attitude. A relevant degree will be needed e.g. Human Resources Management, Economics, Development and Training or Psychology (BWL, Psychologie, Jura, Soziologie; mit dem Schwerpunkt Personal).

 

Additional criteria will be:

  • A flexible and very proactive approach
  • Advanced MS office skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A stress resistant personality
  • Willingness to travel to Cologne twice per week on average
